Julien Rippinger
Ian Bertin, student at IMT Mines Alès, completed a nine-week research internship at the AlICe lab under the supervision of Julien Rippinger. He worked on Pohlke, the lab's Blender add-on for producing axonometric and oblique views, two classic drawing conventions of architectural representation.
His work contributed to Pohlke 2.0, a major new version of the add-on. Users can now set up any projection the way an architect would at the drawing board, by choosing its angles, and see the result update instantly.
Pohlke is free and open source. It can be installed from the Blender Extensions platform, and the documentation and source code are available online.
